Private lessons: one service, one length, your slots
In Schedule → Appointments, create one service per lesson format: “Private lesson 45 min”, “Private lesson 1 h 30”, “Exam preparation”… with its length (from 5 to 480 minutes), the price of the session and a short description.
Then open your availability in series: the days, the time range, the period (up to 92 days at once) and a break between two lessons if you want a breather. Any time already taken by another appointment or by one of your group classes is skipped. In a school, you open each teacher's slots, and each teacher is notified when a student books or cancels a lesson with them.
Pay per lesson or with a lesson pack
There are two ways to get paid for a private lesson. Per lesson: once Stripe is connected, the student pays the price of the lesson when booking, with no plan to create, and the money goes into your Stripe account, with no Brimly commission.
With a pack: in Sales → Plans, create a “Credit pack” (for example 10 lessons, valid for 6 months) and tick the service; each booking uses one lesson. Tick your group classes too if the pack should cover both. A student who pays by bank transfer or in cash is recorded on their profile with “Record a manual payment”, even in several instalments: the balance due is tracked.
Groups by level and conversation classes
For group classes, create one class type per level (A1, A2, B1…) with its capacity, then an “Every week” series until the end of term or “End of June”. A plan can be restricted to certain classes: the “English B1” membership only works for B1 classes, and Brimly checks this at every booking.
Intensive courses and themed conversation workshops are sold separately, with their own price and number of places. To let someone try a group, open a free trial session: they book with their name and email, no password needed.
Video lessons
Brimly doesn't create Zoom, Google Meet or Teams links: it handles booking and payment, and the video call stays in the tool you already use. For an online group class, paste your link into the class's practical information (Schedule → Class types): students find it in their bookings and in the event added to their calendar.
For a private lesson, send the link from the student's profile with “Message this member”: they receive it by email, as a notification in their account and as a push notification on their phone.
Your slots on your website and social media
Your page at brimly.fr/s/your-name (or your own domain) shows your group classes and your shop of packs; private lessons are booked from the Appointments menu of the student area. The “Book an appointment” link (Settings → Public page) leads straight there: students log in or create their account, then choose their slot.
Put it in your Instagram bio, your email signature or a WhatsApp message. On your website, the appointments widget shows your free slots and students book from the page.
